A new day, a new actor speaks his mind. After the whole “Nepotism Rocks” stint at the IIFA awards held in New York, Saif Ali Khan is now trying to speak his way out of it, or rather, misspeak his way out of it. Since making fun of Kangana Ranaut is the new way into the ‘cool club’, Saif too has joined in. But it seems like he’ll soon be the English Kamal R Khan. Speaking in an exclusive to Elle, the actor seems to have picked a few words he may not have understood.

I think it’s actually eugenics and genetics that’s coming into play. Whatever it may be, this privileged versus the unaffiliated leads to a great deal of unfairness. Nepotism is also not to be confused with campism.

Saif then went on to explain nepotism to us and hit the proverbial axe on his own leg.

Nepotism is Donald Trump putting his son at the helm of things instead of someone more suited for the job. There are so many unequal opportunities in India today, no wonder then that people view us as being super privileged. Bollywood is a free market at its most brutal and nepotism can heighten that.

Talking about himself, maybe?

There are also many star kids who are actors and directors who people aren’t so interested in because they perhaps lack the talent.

Saif, stay quiet and play it safe.
