With a number of Bollywood celebrities launching their own YouTube channels, Varun Dhawan has gone a step ahead and kick started his YouTube chat show called ‘The Mango Man’.
As the name suggests, in the show, Varun will be meeting celebrities from all walks of life and asking them questions about what the common man wants to know. As the guest for the show’s first episode, he met the ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar.
The episode began with Sachin and Varun playing some gully cricket, and were also joined by Abhishek Bachchan for a few overs. In a conversation with Varun, later, the cricketer revealed his love for modaks and shared anecdotes from the 2003 World Cup.
“In school, we used to play in Shivaji Stadium, Cross Maidaan etc., and these were open grounds. And then suddenly one day I had to play at Wankhede Stadium for the Under-19 India Trials. I was batting at lunch time, and I had this habit of not eating lunch in school days,” said Sachin talking about his early days of cricket.
On a lighter note, Varun asked Sachin that how do cricketers manage when they need to use the washroom during test matches. To this, he said, “I was really sick, and was suffering from diarrhoea and I just couldn’t control. You have no option but to manage, and go out with tissue paper and all that.”
