American actor Robert De Niro recently took digs at the President of United States, Donald Trump. The actor appeared on the show Reliable Sources in conversation with Brian Stelter. De Niro called Trump “a gangster” and also said that the man is not fit to be President. He further added that the country was in “a terrible situation” and that Trump keeps going on and on “without being stopped.”
“This guy should not be President. Period. We are in a moment in our lives in this country where this [Trump] guy is like a gangster. He’s come along and he’s said things, done things, and we say it over and over again, this is terrible,” said the actor.
He further added that, “We are in a terrible situation. And this guy just keeps going on and on and on without being stopped.”
Stelter then also asked De Niro about the criticism he received earlier for saying “F**k Trump” during the 2018 Tony Awards telecast. De Niro responded with a dismissive and angry “F**k ‘em”.
