For the uninitiated, ‘Gully Gang’ is a hip-hop outfit from the slums and streets of Mumbai, and the most prominent face of ‘Gully Gang’ is Vivian Fernandes aka Rapper Divine. Raised in the gullies of Mumbai, Vivian Fernandes a.k.a DIVINE has come to be hailed as ‘the Voice of the Streets’ - chronicling tales of the people that he’s grown up amidst since childhood - and paying a tribute to the characteristics of the city. ‘Gully Boy’ will be Zoya Akhtar’s next directorial venture. Ranveer Singh, reportedly, will begin working on the film along with co-star Alia Bhatt.
