Meet Vandana Mohan, the Lady Planning Deepika-Ranveer’s Wedding

Vandana Mohan is the woman who is responsible for the biggest wedding of the year.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding is the talk of the town and everyone wants to know every little detail of this celebrity wedding.

The couple, as you know, will be tying the knot at Villa Del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy on 14 and 15 November. The small town has clearly become a hot destination for celeb weddings.

But who do you think is making this dream wedding come true? Of course, a wedding planner and for Deepika and Ranveer, celebrity wedding planner Vandana Mohan is turning fairy godmother.

Her story began 29 years back when she kicked off Backstage Productions pvt. Limited and became the first woman event manager in India. She started off with managing events for leading luxury brands like Chanel, Gucci and Ferragamo.

And today she is managing the biggest weddings and her a clientele that ranges from celebrities to industrialists. But how did she shift from corporate events to celebrity weddings?

She managed the wedding of a client’s daughter first in 2003. And The Wedding Design Company was born.

From being a political science major and aspiring to work for the United Nations, Vandana Mohan has gone to become one of India’s top wedding planners who has today done more 500 weddings. Keep your eyes peeled for the magic she would be spinning for DeeVeer’s shaadi.
