Priyanka Chopra recently began shooting for her next film, We Can Be Heroes, a Netflix original, in New York. A picture of the actor on the sets of the film has now revealed her look for her role.
In a picture shared by a fan account, Priyanka is seen sporting a bob, as she poses with director Robert Rodriguez and a bunch of kids outside an ice cream truck, where they have been filming on the weekend.
A sci-fi fantasy, written and directed by Robert (Spy Kids and Alita: Battle Angel), the story of the film tells the story of how Earth’s superheroes get abducted by alien invaders, leaving their children to team up to save their parents and the world.
Not much is known about Priyanka’s character at this point, except that she will be working closely with child stars of the film.
We Can Be Heroes also stars Christian Slater, Akira Akbar, YaYa Gosselin, Andrew Diaz, Andy Walken, Boyd Holbrook, Hala Finley, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Lotus Blossom, Lyon Daniels, Nathan Blair, Sung Kang, Christopher McDonald and Pedro Pascal, among others.
Priyanka will next be seen on the big screen in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink, which also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. The film is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2019, and will release in theatres on 11 October.
