During a media interaction recently, American singer Nick Jonas, who is married to Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra, spoke to E! News about how his work is constantly guided by the idea of a future. “I think that in everything we do, you know, my brothers and I, Priyanka and I, everything we do we think about the future,” he said.

The 26-year-old, who recently got back with his band Jonas Brothers, also said that, in the long run, he wants to build a legacy and a story that he can share with his kids in the future. He also joked about how he’d keep the more “adult-themed projects” away from the kids till they’re old enough.

“And building something that becomes a part of a legacy in some way, and a story we can share with our kids in the future. That’s everything from the music to projects that we align ourselves with and, maybe some of the projects that are more adult-themed we’ll hold those back ’til they get older obviously.”

Priyanka and Nick got married in December 2018. They’re both on this year’s Met Gala Benefit Committee. Interestingly, Met Gala is also where their love story officially began. “From walking the prestigious carpet for the first time, to meeting my husband and many friends for life... Nick and I are honored to be on the Benefit Committee for this year’s Met Gala. Looking forward to the first Monday in May” she wrote on Instagram.

On the professional front, Nick Jonas recently released two hit songs, ‘Sucker’ and ‘Cool’, after reuniting with his boy band Jonas Brothers. Priyanka Chopra and Mindy Kaling will be coming together for a comedy focused on Indian weddings.
