If there’s one thing Kangana Ranaut is known for, it’s speaking her mind without feeling the need to tiptoe around controversial subjects. Speaking at a recent media event, the Manikarnika actor opened up about the taboo that surrounds sex in India saying that “parents should be happy with children having sex” since it was an “important aspect of everyone’s life”. “When you want sex, just have it. Don't be obsessed,” she explained.
Kangana also said that her parents were shocked when they found out that she was sexually active. She told the audience,
Kangana was most recently seen opposite Rajkummar Rao in Judgementall Hai Kya. She is currently preparing for her role in Thalaivi, a biopic of the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the late Jayalalithaa. It has been written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, who has also penned Baahubali and Manikarnika, and directed by Devi filmmaker AL Vijay. She visited the US for a look test with Hollywood prosthetics expert Jason Collins, who has worked on Hollywood films like Captain Marvel and Blade Runner. Other films she has in the pipeline include Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga and action thriller Dhaakad, which are expected to release in 2020.
