Nirav Modi, the internationally-acclaimed Indian jeweller who’s been a favourite among the A-listers of Hollywood and Bollywood, has been caught smack in the middle of yet another money laundering scam, only this time it’s been staked at $1.17 billion.

While the billionaire Gujarati entrepreneur’s great rapport with the who’s who of B-town is widely known, his prowess in Hollywood has been building through the years, finally emerging in full in the 89th Academy Awards, when the likes of Taraji P Henson, Karlie Kloss, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Upton, Stella Maxwell and Olivia Munn sported his designs on the red carpet.

While many actors of both industries have modelled his brand, Modi asked Priyanka Chopra, whose Bollywood fandom has nearly been overpowered by its international counterpart, to be the brand ambassador of ‘NIRAV MODI’ in January, 2017.

Following this, Pee-Cee went on to model his brand in a series of ads, out of which the one with Siddharth Malhotra, which had a Nirav Modi original sparkler ring as its focus, became viral.

Lisa Haydon too has been a popular face of the brand and along with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Andreea Diaconu, have been Modi’s main models promoting the brand overseas.
