Recently, filmmaker and producer Karan Johar hosted a small gathering at his house and naturally, all the known faces of BTown were present. Karan Johar even shared a behind-the-scenes video of the party, with the caption “Saturday night vibes.” Now, MLA Manjinder S Sirsa has taken to social media to comment that the actors in the video are allegedly drugged.
Calling it “Udta Bollywood”, Manjinder Sirsa wrote on Twitter, “ #UDTABollywood - Fiction Vs Reality Watch how the high and mighty of Bollywood proudly flaunt their drugged state!! I raise my voice against #DrugAbuse by these stars. RT if you too feel disgusted @shahidkapoor @deepikapadukone @arjunk26 @Varun_dvn @karanjohar @vickykaushal09”
However, this did not go well with netizens on Twitter as many slammed the politician for poking his nose in somebody else’s private matter.
“How? I thought they’d all be snorting lines of coke or something. Thanks for wasting everyone’s time,” wrote one user.
Another user took a screenshot from the video to prove the MLA’s point.
However, they too were slammed by another user who said that the white substance was in fact light as it keeps moving.
Politician Milind Deora also came to the celebs’ defence. He took to Twitter to clarify that his wife too was present at the party and he can confirm that nobody there was under the influence of drugs.
He wrote, “My wife was also present that evening (and is in the video). Nobody was in a “drugged state” so stop spreading lies & defaming people you don’t know! I hope you will show the courage to tender an unconditional apology.”
