Last week, a video of actor Savi Sidhu went viral where he spoke about his struggling days and what led him to take up a security guard's job.

Now, singer Mika Singh has offered Savi a role in his upcoming production Aadat and also a full time job at his office. Aadat is directed by Bhushan Patel and stars real-life couple Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover.

“I received a call from him, and I thought it was a prank. Mika was direct. ‘You are not doing this job anymore, you are joining my group,’ he told me. The next day, he sent a car to take me to his house. He gave me some new clothes and food. I start working with him in the next 10 days,”

Mika said that he wanted to help Savi being a Punjabi from the same fraternity. The singer had heard that Savi is a talented actor and felt that even a small role is better than working as a watchman. Mika asked the makers of Aadat to write in a role for Savi even though the film is 7 days away from wrap-up. Savi confirmed to Mumbai Mirror that Mika had helped him out and that director Nikkhil Advani has also offered him work.

“I have also recommended him for other roles. I also plan to help him find work as an acting coach,”

Savi, who started his Bollywood career with films like Black Friday and Patiala House, currently works for 12 hours a day as a security guard. Celebrities like Rajkummar Rao and Anurag Kashyap have tweeted out in support of the actor.
