Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s VFX extravaganza 2.0 is being touted as India’s most expensive film yet. This S Shankar directed film is made on a (approximately) Rs 500 crore budget with heavy use of visual effects and animation.
So what went into the making of this ‘epic’ film, which involves flying cellphones, a no-nonsense Chitti, and an unrecognisable antagonist in prosthetics? Besides 3000 technicians and 1000 VFX artists, of course. Take a look:
Directed by S. Shankar, 2.0, which stars Rajinikanth, is a sequel of 2010 film Enthiran which released in Hindi as Robot. The film is slated to release on November 29.
