Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar had been hospitalised some time back due to a viral chest infection. Now, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar paid a visit to her in Breach Candy hospital and took to social media on Tuesday to inform that the singer is now “stable.”
“Visited the Hospital to see @lata_mangeshkar didi glad to inform that she is stable and responding positively to the treatment. Thanks everyone for countless blessings & prayers for her speedy recovery #latamangeshkar,” Bhandarkar wrote on Instagram.
Fans were relieved seeing Madhur Bhandarkar’s post and messages came pouring in, wishing Lata Mangeshkar speedy recovery. “Thanks for the news sir, get well soon to Lataji”, “Wish her speedy recovery”, and “So glad that Latajee is recovering back to good health” were some of the comments on his post.
On 11 November, The Hindu reported that Lata Mangeshkar was rushed to Breach Candy after complaining of breathing difficulties. Amidst a lot of speculations, her team shared some days back that Lata is doing much better. Lata Mangeshkar’s team said, “We are as happy as you are to inform you that with all your prayers and best wishes, Lata didi is doing much better. Thank You for being there. God is great.”
