Parineeti on 'The Girl on the Train' Remake: Comparisons with Emily Blunt Inevitable
Parineeti Chopra, who is set to start working on the official remake of the Hollywood thriller, The Girl on the Train says she is ready for comparisons to be drawn with the original film starring Emily Blunt. According to a Hindustan Times report, she said, “When any actor does a remake of a loved film, there are expectations to match the original, if not better it. So, I realize that audience will look at our film and draw comparisons to the original as well as compare my portrayal of the protagonist versus Emily’s.”
The movie is originally based on the 2015 bestselling novel by Paula Hawkins, in which a divorcee woman gets trapped in a missing persons investigation that threatens her life.
