The speculations and rumours surrounding Irrfan Khan’s health refuse to die down. The actor’s spokesperson has sent out another disclaimer to NOT fall for social media statuses which are “absolutely false”.
This latest round of news being spread through social medial in last few days about Irrfan’s health is absolutely false and there’s no truth to it whatsoever. We as his family and friends again request the members of the media to continue their support and the prayers that have come Irrfan’s way. However it’s not right to spread rumours through mediums of social media without fact check or any official validation. In the meanwhile once again we request everyone to refrain from picking up social media statuses as affirmative developments on someone’s health.
Irrfan, who is currently battling neuroendocrine tumor was earlier rumored to be seeking Ayurvedic treatment but his spokesperson rubbished these reports.
His spokesperson released a statement stating:
As suggested by recent news reports, Mr. Khan is not consulting with Vaidya Balendu Prakash. He at one point had contacted him but other than one phone call there has been no conversation or consultation whatsoever. It is unacceptable to be using someone’s illness for your own publicity and personal gain. Like Irrfan Khan’s previous statements, we all need to respect the space asked for and wait for him or his wife’s statement for any further update.
