It’s Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on 2 November and we are already very excited. Speculations are rife that this year too the actor will celebrate the special day by throwing a lavish party. However, Gauri Khan has put to rest all rumours. Speaking to Miss Malini, she revealed that SRK is planning to have a quiet birthday this year. “This year we are planning to stay at home and have a quiet dinner,” she said.
However, even if Shah Rukh does plan to have a private dinner, he will surely be greeted by thousands of fans outside Mannat.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen as a special guest in David Letterman’s show. Some days back, Netflix had a trailer. Filled with tongue-in-cheek humour and interesting anecdotes from SRK’s personal life, the trailer gives us a glimpse of what we can expect once the episode starts streaming on 25 October.
In the trailer, we get glimpses of SRK’s domestic life. From cooking pasta for AbRam in the middle of the night to sitting down for a meal with his wife Gauri Khan and Letterman, SRK is candid and open.
The trailer begins with a classic dose of SRK’s wit and humour. He says, “This show is called My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. And then they kept asking me, ‘How do you want Dave to introduce you?’
When Letterman asks SRK if he enjoys being a star, SRK responds with: “Lot of things I’ve realised I can’t be so I became an actor.”
The stand-alone interview will launch exclusively on the streaming platform on 25 October, 2019 across 190 countries.
