From Punjab to Miami: Guru Randhawa Collaborates With Pitbull

The Punjabi singer and rapper Guru Randhawa, whose repertoire is graced by hits like, Suit, Ban Ja Rani, Lahore and Patola just upped his game by joining forces with American rapper Pitbull for an international single. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the single is titled Slowly Slowly and was shot in Miami under the direction of Gifty. The music is produced by DJ Shadow Dubai, MKSHFT, BlackOut, RedMoney & Vee.

Guru Randhawa said in a statement, “I am quite excited to collaborate with Pitbull and the song has turned out good. Pitbull’s contribution on the song adds a magical spin that gives it yet another International twist. It’s a huge step ahead in going global...I think this collaboration will set Indian music on the global map.”

Guru Randhawa took to Instagram to share his excitement about working with Pitbull.

Guru Randhawa’s single Lahore has already crossed about 700 million views.

Talking about the lyrics of the song, Guru told Mumbai Mirror, “During our two-day stay in Miami, Pitbull sir supported us like we were family...”

Pitbul, who has worked with Priyanka Chopra before on her single, Exotic is known to love India and Indian music and artists. Guru went on to reveal that Pitbull knows a lot about India since he visits the country for a lot of events and private wedding functions.
