DYK Anushka Sharma and Sakshi Dhoni Were Schoolmates? Take a Look

Anushka Sharma and Sakshi Dhoni happen to be married to two of India’s biggest cricketers, that’s Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. However, they have more than their husbands in common. When they were kids, Anushka and Sakshi attended the same school as classmates.

Both Anushka and Sakshi went to St Mary's School, Margherita in Assam. Now pictures of little Anushka and little Sakshi from school are going viral. In one of the photos, the two girls are dressed up in costumes for a special event. Anushka is seen wearing a bright pink ghagra choli while Sakshi is dressed as a fairy princess. Plus, there are newer pictures of the now older women hanging out with friends.

Anushka herself had revealed their close connection at a launch event in 2013 and spoken about how the two got back in touch years after school.

“Sakshi and I lived together in a very small town in Assam. When she told me where she lived, I said wow, I have lived here too! She said I went to this school, I said I went to this school too... And then I found a picture in which Sakshi is dressed as a fairy and I’m dressed in a ghaghara like my favourite idol Madhuri. Sakshi is extremely funny,”

Anushka was last seen on the big screen in Anand L Rai’s Zero along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
