A year after Sridevi’s tragic and sudden demise shocked the Indian Film Industry, actors, directors and fans alike took to social media to remember Bollywood’s Chandni.

Sridevi, Bollywood's first female superstar, died aged 54 on 24 February, 2018, by accidentally drowning in a bath tub in a Dubai hotel, leaving the film industry, her family and legions of fans in a state of shock. The actor was attending a family wedding in Dubai.

While Sridevi’s daughter, Dhadak actor Jahnvi, shared a heartfelt post remembering her mother on her first death anniversary, stars like Shabana Azmi, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Farah Khan put out posts in her memory.
