The Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma ‘litter video’ controversy rages on. After the couple “shamed” the man’s behaviour, Arhhan Singh took to his social media to attack them for not being “polite”.
As it turns out, Arhhan is a child actor who has worked in several ads, television shows and films. If he looks familiar to you, here’s why:
Arhhan has worked in several films, including Madhuri Dixit’s Raja as a young Sanjay Kapoor.
He has shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in English Babu Desi Mem (1996).
He’s worked in dozens of ads, and also starred as a child artiste in Dekh Bhai Dekh. Arhhan “Sunny” Singh starred as Vishal Diwan, Shekhar Suman’s son in the hit 90s television show.
And more recently, Arhhan was seen in Shahid Kapoor’s Paathshala in 2010.
After Virat shared the video of Arhhan on social media, he also spoke about the incident on his Facebook.
“So I happened to carelessly litter a square mm of plastic while driving! A car passing by rolls their window down and there we have our wonderful Anushka Sharma ranting and yelling like a crazy roadside person! While I’m apologetic for my carelessness, Mrs Anushka Sharma Kohli, a little etiquette and politeness in your dialogue wouldn’t have made you a lesser star! There are all kinds of manners and hygiene... verbal etiquette is one of them! The garbage that mistakenly went out of the window of my luxury car... Was way less then the garbage that came out from your mouth... From your luxury car’s window... Or the trashy mind Virat Kohli to shoot annd post this online... For whatever gains... Now that’s some serious trash!” he wrote.
His mother also lashed out at the couple for not blurring his face. “As a mother,I would like to state that you have not only shamed my son @arhhansingh on social media by not blurring his face, but you’ve also exposed him to unwanted hostility.... and danger from fanatics for such a small thing that you claim he has done but have no proof of anyway? I am concerned about my son’s SAFTEY,” she wrote.
Anushka Sharma was appointed as the face of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in 2017.
