La la la la
Wait ‘til I get my money right

I had a dream I could buy my way to heaven
When I awoke I spent that on a necklace
I told God I’d be back in a second man,
It’s so hard not to act reckless

(Kanye West, Can’t Tell Me Nothin’)

Kanye might have been better off if he had listened to his own song.

In a recent revelation, the 38-year-old Grammy winning rapper-turned-fashion designer said he is in huge debt. Kanye has unabashedly gone so far to ask Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg to help him out.

He even remembered Zuckerberg’s birthday, which is a great way to start a friendship. Except, Mark’s birthday is in May.

Soon, he was asking followers to help him get Zuckerberg’s attention.

He even hinted that he was more in need of the money than Africa.

Kanye, who dropped his long awaited and controversial album The Life of Pablo last week, said he does not sell his music on Apple and appealed to followers to get music-streaming service Tidal instead. He said the company was “funding a lot of (my) scripted content ideas”.

Kanye said he was “personally rich” but needed the cash to “bring more beautiful ideas to the world”.

Kanye even attempted to touch upon Google co-founder Larry Page for some money.

Yeezy, we got your back.
