Dharma Productions' much awaited horror franchise Bhoot Part One - The Haunted Ship's shoot culminated on Thursday and Vicky Kaushal took to social media to share his experience.
The National Award winner shared a photograph of himself from the sets of the film and said that he 'fought many of his own fears' while filming.
"Rolled our last shot for ‘BHOOT Part 1- The Haunted Ship’ and we finally wrap this very special film of ours. Fought many of my own fears through the journey of this Film. Can’t wait to spook you all out with this one," he wrote.
Bhoot will be a franchise with this being the part one. The first part is titled The Haunted Ship. It is being directed by Shashank Khaitan’s assistant Bhanu Pratap Singh and will be in theaters on 15 November 2019.
The film is said to be set in a ship that has been abandoned on the shore. This will be Dharma’s first ever franchise and a relatively new genre for Karan Johar as he has dabbled mostly in romantic comedies and drama. The last horror flick he produced was Kaal which didn’t do well at the box office.
In July this year, the team had shared the poster of the film. The poster showed Vicky Kaushal in a completely new look, as he seems to cry for help from a window of what appears to be a ship.
Also starring Bhumi Pednekar, the film will be releasing on 15 November 2019.
