Salman Khan’s much-awaited Tubelight has finally hit theatres. But it isn’t bringing audiences to the theatre in the way his previous hits have.
The film collected Rs 21.17 crore on day two at the box-office, according to a report by trade analyst, Taran Adarsh.

Karan Arjun fans may rejoice! After watching Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan reunite in Tubelight, we will see Salman return the favour by doing a cameo in SRK’s next.
Salman will be seen in SRK’s next with Anand L Rai which reportedly also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
Talking about SRK’s cameo in Tubelight, Salman said it took one phone call to get SRK on board.
The duo have worked together in Karan Arjun, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
As usual, Baba Siddique’s iftar party was a star-studded affair. Salman Khan along with Sohail, Salim, Ahil and Iulia were spotted at the event. Tubelight star, Matin Rey Tangu was also present.
Shah Rukh Khan discreetly came from the back entrance to avoid the paparazzi. Preity Zinta was also spotted with Iulia Vantur at the event.

The Baba, known to be colourful quirky and quite a scenestealer in public spaces, definitely has a huge success story to prop up his image. Devgn is keen to explore the image. The earlier plan was to produce a television serial on Baba Ramdev with the talented Death In The Gunj actor Vikrant Massey in the lead. But after things didn’t workout with Vikrant, Devgn who was to produce the serial, has taken the story back to the board.
In all likelihood he will now produce a big-screen biopic on Baba Ramdev and will cast himself as the scenestealing Baba.

The makers of the Kajol-Dhanush starrer VIP 2 have decided to use another title for the Hindi version of their movie titled VIP 2 (Lalkar).
Since the comedy drama directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth features the two powerhouse performers - Kajol and Dhanush together for the first time on the big screen, the makers wanted to ensure the title registers across pan-India, especially the north belt, considered as one of the major revenue earning territories, said a statement.
Kajol is returning to the big screen after 2015 released Dilwale, and Dhanush enjoys a huge fan following in the north after Raanjhanaa and Shamitabh.
