Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar was discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital on Sunday (8 December) after 28 days of stay for pneumonia treatment.
Sharing her health update, Mangeshkar took to Twitter and wrote: “Namaskaar, For the past 28 days, I was at Breach Candy hospital. I was diagnosed with pneumonia. The doctors preferred that I extend my stay in hospital and go home when completely healthy. Today, I am back home with the blessings of Mai and Baba.”
Dilip Kumar took to Twitter to write that he was overjoyed that his ‘younger sister’ Lata is feeling much better now. “Overjoyed to hear the good news that My ‘choti behen’ Lata, is feeling much better and is at her home now. Please take good care of yourself,” he wrote.

Pati Patni Aur Woh, which released in theatres on 6 December, has registered good opening weekend figures. The film has made Rs 35.95 crore in the first three days. The film made Rs 9.10 crore on the opening day, Rs 12.33 crore on Saturday and Rs 14.51 crore on Sunday. Pati Patni Aur Woh has thus registered the highest opening weekend figures of Kartik Aaryan’s career. The actor’s previous highest opener was his last release, earlier this year, Luka Chuppi, which had made Rs 32.13 crore in three days.

Madhuri Dixit is set to make her digital debut with Netflix. The actor has been cast in a yet untitled family drama that has been written by New York-based writer and director Sri Rao and produced by Karan Johar. According to Madhuri, the series will explore the “lives that people in the entertainment industry lead”.
“I am extremely excited to be making my OTT acting debut. As an artiste, I am always looking out to do work that is creatively fulfilling and that reaches out to maximum number of people. The story is entertaining, gripping, nail-biting, and yet heartwarming and I can’t wait to start shooting for it,” the actor said in a statement.

Sushmita Sen has hinted that she may be making a comeback to Bollywood soon. The actor took to Instagram to announce that she will return to the big screen after 10 years, though she didn’t divulge further details. “I have always been in awe of love that knows patience!! This alone makes me a fan of my fans!! They have waited 10 long years for my return to the screen, lovingly encouraging me every step of the way throughout my hiatus unconditionally!!! I return for you!!!!!” she wrote.
