Salman Khan has bounced back and how. Even as business slows down a bit, Tiger Zinda Hai, his latest film opposite Katrina Kaif, has scored triple century at the box office. It has raked in Rs 300.89 crore in India in the third week of its release.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Tiger Zinda Hai is YRF’s highest grossing film yet.
Tiger Zinda Hai raked in Rs 34.10 crore on its opening day. The second day was even better. The film made 35.30 crore on Saturday and third day collections gave it a direct entry into the 100-crore club. The film made 45.53 crore on Sunday making the total collection for 3 days Rs 114.93 crore.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to 2012 hit film Ek Tha Tiger and also stars Katrina Kaif, Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra, and Nawab Shah.
Salman seems to have shrugged off the rough patch after the dim performance of Tubelight, which was not able to break the opening records of superstar's previous Eid outings Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan.
