Thugs of Hindostan saw a massive drop after the bumper first day over the Diwali long weekend. The Aamir Khan-Big B film has grossed Rs 123 crore in four days. This is probably the result of negative word of mouth across the board. It witnessed a sharp decline as confirmed by Taran Adarsh. The figure stood at Rs 124. 50 Cr at the end of Monday, 13 November.

Adarsh predicts a free-fall of the collections during the week.

The film starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, released on 8 November. Touted as the most expensive film to be produced in Bollywood ever, there are a lot of expectations and money riding on the Vijay Krishna Acharya film.

Thugs of Hindostan did good business in the long Diwali weekend despite panning by the critics.

For starters, the film earned the fastest Rs 50 crore in the history of Indian cinema and that too on day one. To be precise, it raked in Rs 52.25 crore.
