This week’s emotional hit Mom opened in Pakistan to an overwhelming response. But what was even more overwhelming was the special message that Sridevi via a video conference to her two Pakistani co-stars Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Aly, who play pivotal roles in the film.
Sridevi’s message, which was played before the films’s premiere at Karachi, shows the teary-eyed actress greeting her co-stars with an emotional salaam alaikum and ending her message with a sigh and sob regret, for not having them by her side to promote their hard work.
Sources close to the film on this side of the border insist that the two Pakistani artistes, who top-line the Mom cast, will visit India soon.
BJP spokesperson Shaina NC insists that there has been no official ban on Pakistani artistes.
