A twenty-something reporter in Karachi who’s battling hectic deadlines, dangerous reporting assignments on bomb blasts and a messed-up love life. That’s the life of Ayesha Khan in the book 'Karachi, You’re Killing Me!', which is set to be adapted for the big screen as the Sonakshi Sinha-starrer ‘Noor’.
The Quint caught up with Saba Imtiaz, the author of ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me!’ and ‘Noor’ stars Sonakshi Sinha and Kanan Gill to talk about translating a book on-screen, what’s it like to be a journalist in Karachi and whether Ayesha in the book is more fun than Noor in the film.
