Sara Ali Khan has been stealing hearts both off screen and on screen. The actor recently made her debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath with co-star Sushant Singh Rajput. The film, which released on 7 December, has been getting a mixed response, but Sara Ali Khan has got a nod of approval from critics across the board for her performance. As the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Sara may be a star kid but if her maiden film is anything to go by, the actor is a star in her own right.
According to The Quint’s Stutee Ghosh, “Director Abhishek Kapoor allows Sara to simply be and not burden her with unnecessary slo-mo shots of flying hair and freeze frames. She, for her part is supremely confident and her screen presence is striking.”
During a visit to a college in Mumbai to promote Kedarnath, Sara spoke about her nervousness before the release of the film, her experience working with Abhishek and Sushant and even shook a leg with some of her fans.
Sara Ali Khan will be seen next alongside Ranveer Singh in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba which releases on 28 December.
