Good News! Munna Bhai will be Back Soon, Confirms Rajkumar Hirani

The ‘Sanju’ director is working on the ‘Munna Bhai 3’ script.

All you Sanjay Dutt fans, you have not one but two reasons to celebrate. Yes, we are eagerly waiting for Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. But there is no denying how much we miss Munna Bhai and his jadoo ki jhappis.

Rajkumar Hirani has now confirmed that Munna Bhai 3 will be his next film after Sanju. The filmmaker says that writer Abhijat Joshi and he have found an interesting idea and they are spending most of the time writing the script these days. Hirani says they have already discarded five half-written scripts.

After the success of Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai, rumours had it that Hirani would team up with Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi for Munna Bhai Chale Amerika. In fact, we even saw the trailer of the film in 2007, but the project never saw the light of the day.

But now that Munna Bhai is making a comeback, would Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani be part of the project as well? Because unke bina Munna Bhai adhoora hai.
