After playing a Bajrangi bhakt on screen in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, get ready for Hanuman Da Damdaar, the animated Bajrangi that Salman has been busy dubbing for. Watch this video for a fun glimpse of what Salman is like behind the microphone. Don’t miss the filmi references he’s lending to the animated God.
But Salman is not the only star behind the film. Javed Akhtar, Raveena Tandon, Makrand Deshpande, Vinay Pathak, Saurabh Shukla, Chunky Pandey and Kunal Kemmu have also dubbed for vital characters in the animated story.
Directed by Ruchi Narain of Hazaaron Khwahishen Aisi fame, the fun film reportedly got an instant nod from Salman. In fact, his dubbing style apparently left Ruchi very impressed with the kind of improvisations he brought to his act. Check out the directer talking about her experience of making this fun mythological animation and all that went on inside the dubbing studio.
It’ll be interesting to see how Salman works as the leader of the Vanar Sena. But going by the trailer, it looks like a really fun watch. Hanuman Da Damdaar hits theatres on June 2.
