As Sridevi’s mortal remains are being brought back to India for the last rites, Bollywood stars have been visiting Anil Kapoor’s home to offer condolences to the family of the late star. Sridevi ruled Indian cinema for over five decades. The late actor has been working since the age of four and had finally taken a break in the 90s to concentrate on bringing up her daughters, Khushi and Jahnvi Kapoor.

Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, who have worked with Sridevi in various films also arrived in Mumbai to condole the family. Kamal Haasan said that while he will be meeting the family, he won’t be attending the funeral of the late actor. Kamal and Sridevi acted in 21 films together.

Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Anant Ambani, Athiya Shetty and others were seen arriving at Anil’s residence to meet Sridevi’s family.

After initial reports of Sridevi suffering a cardiac arrest on 24 February in Dubai, the autopsy report declared ‘accidental drowning’ as the cause of death. The English Vinglish actor was 54. The mortal remains of the actor are expected to arrive in Mumbai in a private jet arranged by Anil Ambani. Sridevi’s cremation to take place on 28 February.

Even as B-Town dropped in to condole with the Kapoor family, heavy security has been deployed outside Anil Kapoor’s house.

Sridevi was in UAE to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding to Antara Motiwala. After the wedding, Sridevi went to Dubai to meet her sister. Sridevi was staying at Jumeirah Towers.
