The sequel to the iconic 1994 film Andaz Apna Apna has been on cards for sometime now, and according to reports, director Rajkumar Santoshi might have made a decision and decided on the cast for the film.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the director is planning to make a sequel to the film and in talks with Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh for the lead roles. In Andaz Apna Apna, the roles were reprised by Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. The female leads for the film are yet to be finalized.
Earlier there were reports of Ranveer-Varun, and even Salman-Aamir starring in the sequel, and we just hope for the iconic pair of Prem-Amar to be confirmed soon.
Andaz Apna Apna, also starring Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, might not have been a blockbuster hit, but it achieved a cult status with years to come.
Recently completing 25 years, the film had tanked at the box office when it was released but aged to be one of the funniest movies that Bollywood has seen. From Amar-Prem to Raveena and Karishma, from Teja to Crime Master Gogo, from Robert to Bhalla and from Govinda to Aila! Juhi Chawla, the film brought out some legendary characters that have stuck with us in time.
