Will ‘Race 3’ Enter the 100 Crore Club on Its Opening Weekend?

As the second day box-office collection of Race 3 stands at 38.14 crores, this Salman Khan film might just enter the 100 crore club on its opening weekend. If trade pundits are are to be believed, the film got a massive boost due to the long weekend. Race 3 got a head start with Eid as it raked in 29.17 crores, on the very first day. The film’s total box-office collection stands at 67.31 crores.

In the past, three Salman Khan films have crossed the 100 corer mark on their opening weekends: ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Sultan’, and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

Race 3 started making the headline even before it hit the screens. Now, the film has earned the title of the biggest opener of 2018, leaving Baaghi 2 at second place.

Directed by Remo D'Souza, Race 3 also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, and Saqib Saleem.
