‘Bluffmaster!’ Duo PeeCee & Abhishek Bachchan Set to Reunite?

Priyanka Chopra seems to be making her B’Wood ‘return’ with gusto!

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Shonali Bose, Margarita with a Straw director, is set to direct a film inspired by the true-life of Aisha Chaudhary, a motivational speaker and author of My Little Epiphanies, who was diagnosed with an immune deficiency disorder and with pulmonary fibrosis when she was 13.

She also bagged the title of INK Fellow consequent to her speeches in the 2011 and 2013 INK Conferences. A TEDX Pune speaker, she fought for her life, till she succumbed to her disease at the age of 18.

Bose has reportedly roped in Priyanka Chopra to play the part and Abhishek Bachchan will essay the role of the male lead in the film.

“Shonali met with Abhishek recently on the sets of Manmarziyan and shared the idea with him. He liked it and she will be giving him the final narration soon. If he comes on board, Priyanka and he will play parents to the young protagonist casting for which is currently underway. Meanwhile, Shonali is working on the script and hopes to start shooting by the year-end.”

If the reported alliance works out, PeeCee and Jr. Bachchan will be coming together for a project after a decade. They earlier appeared in Dostana and Bluffmaster.

Priyanka Chopra is making her return to Bollywood after two years with Salman Khan’s Bharat.
