Nutan’s granddaughter Pranutan Bahl is the latest Bollywood by-product on the internet to make big waves for her striking similarities with the legendaryactress.
Daughter of actor Mohnish Bahl, the 24-year-old has expressed the desire to enter Bollywood but is still waiting for the right offer.
I am very keen on being an actor. As far as offers are concerned, they were coming through my studying years but at that time, I wanted to focus on education. Now, I have got a few offers but there is nothing concrete.

Pranutan is a law graduate and is reportedly, currently pursuing her masters from Mumbai University.
And just like the rest of us, Pranutan is a fan of her family’s work.
I loved my grandmother in Sujata (1959), Bandini (1963) and Saudagar (1973). And my father was fabulous in Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) on the big screen, and in the TV show, Devi (2002-2004).
Pranutan’s father, Mohnish Bahl, who was seen in Bollywood hits like Hum Saath Saath Hai and the small screen for several years, said his daughter’s debut movie should be worthy of the family’s legacy.

The offer should be worthy of the legacy that comes with Nutan’s name. She is very particular of not putting that down in any way. I think the media was buzzing so much about her images because of her family background and the fact that she looks so much like her grandmother. She is very interested in a film debut, but her priorities are firm and she wanted to complete her education first.

Pranutan’s mother Aarti Bahl (screen name Ektaa) is also an Indian film actress.

Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan are among the other industry kids touted as the next newcomers in Bollywood.
I think healthy competition is important. It helps you perform better. Jhanvi and Sara are both stunning and talented. It would be great to debut with them at the same time.
