At the stroke of midnight on Wednesday, 15 August, Vishal Bhardwaj dropped the trailed for his next entertainer- Pataakha, which promises to be quite a dhamaka for its audience! Starring Dangal’s Sanya Malhotra and television actor Radhika Madan, two sisters who can’t stand the sight of one another, Bhardwaj intends to employ their relationship as a metaphor for India and Pakistan’s relationship.
Now the second trailer has been released and it picks up from where the first one left off.
The second trailer gives us a glimpse into the sisters’ life as they land up in the same house, unintentionally after their wedding. It’s rife with other analogies and comments relevant to our times like the mention of ‘Swacch Bharat’ and the India-Pakistan ‘Batwaara’.
The trailer also features Sunil Grover, who seems to be intent on sparking a sparring match again.
The second trailer again lays all the cards on the table. The film is set to release on 28 September.
