‘Paltan’ Poster: Meet JP Dutta’s New Indian Army Squad

‘Paltan’ is based on the 1962 Sino-Indian War.

JP Dutta’s has added another film to his formidable war film kitty. Paltan is based on the 1967 Sino-Indian War (between India and China), and stars Arjun Rampal, Jackie Shroff and Sonu Sood, the film also features Harshvardhan Rane and Luv Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha’s brother.

The first look of the characters is out:

By the look of it, Paltan will be a quintessential Dutta film: intense, action-packed and with nationalistic overtones. It will hit the theatres on 7 September.

JP Dutta is best known for films like Border (1997), Refugee (2000) and LOC Kargil (2003).
