While the beginning of 2019 will see the release of a host of films such as Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Cheat India and Super 30, Independence Day is set to see three biggies clash in the box office: Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal; John Abraham’s Batla House and Prabhas’ Saaho.
Mission Mangal is based on India’s mission to Mars and is being touted as India’s first space film. Produced by Fox Star Studios and Akshay Kumar’s home production Cape Of Good Films, the movie will star Akshay in the lead with Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu and Sonakshi Sinha.
Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Batla House is based on the real-life encounter that took place in Delhi in 2008 and stars John Abraham as ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav and Mrunal Thakur.
Baahubali star Prabhas will make his Hindi film debut with action film Saaho, which will also feature Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunky Pandey and Mandira Bedi.
