MLA Manjinder S Sirsa has taken to social media to demand action against the Netflix show Sacred Games. The second season of Sacred Games dropped on 15 August. According to Sirsa, some scenes from the show disrespect the Sikh community. He posted a video clip of a scene in which the character Sartaj Singh, played by Saif Ali Khan, throws his kada (a religious symbol) into the sea. Sirsa previously also accused several Bollywood celebs of “flaunting their drugged state” in a video from a party at filmmaker Karan Johar’s house.
