Akshay, Kiara Film Song 'Burj Khalifa'

Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani, who will next be seen in Laxmmi Bomb, have reunited in Dubai for the filming of a song titled ‘Burj Khalifa’. The dance number is being choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani also shared screen space in Good Newwz, which released recently.

Court Directs ‘Chhapaak’ Makers to Credit Laxmi Agarwal’s Lawyer

Delhi’s Patiala House Court has directed the makers of Deepika Padukone-starrer Chhapaak to give lawyer Aparna Bhat credit in the film, reports ANI. Bhat was the legal representative of Laxmi Agarwal, the acid attack survivor on whom the movie is based.

Just before its release, Bhat, who represented Laxmi in her criminal trial in the Patiala House Court, filed a plea seeking stay on the film. She had posted a message on Facebook saying that she was ‘deeply disturbed post watching the film’ as the makers haven’t mentioned her name in the film or given her credit.

Saif Finds His Long Lost Daughter in 'Jawaani Jaaneman' Trailer

The trailer for Nitin Kakkar directorial Jawaani Jaaneman has released. The film stars Saif Ali Khan and Tabu with debutant Alaya Furniturewala. The story revolves around a middle-aged playboy whose life is upended when he finds out he has a daughter. As he tries to get to know her and her hippie mother, he must figure out whether he is ready to be a parent.

Jawaani Jaaneman releases on 31 January.

'Chhapaak' Tax-Free in Madhya Pradesh

Deepika Padukone’s latest release Chhapaak has been made tax-free in Madhya Pradesh, reports ANI. The Meghna Gulzar directorial is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal and also stars Vikrant Massey.

Karan Johar to Produce a Film on R&AW Founder RN Kao

Karan Johar announced on Twitter that his next project as a producer will be an adaptation of Nitin Gokhale’s book R.N. Kao: Gentleman Spymaster. The book is based on the life of R&AW founder.

His tweet read, “An adaptation of the book “R.N. Kao: Gentleman Spymaster” by Nitin Gokhale, the film will tell the story of Kao who founded India’s external intelligence agency - R&AW and how he went on to become a success story in the world of international espionage.”
