'The Simpsons' Producer Dead at 54
Animation producer J Michael Mendel, known for his work on The Simpsons and Rick and Morty, has died. The four-time Emmy award-winner was 54.
A spokesperson for Adult Swim, the network on which Rick and Morty airs, confirmed the death of the producer, reports variety.com. “All of us at Adult Swim are devastated by the untimely passing of Mike Mendel. Mike was the heart of the 'Rick and Morty' production family, his fantastic talent and wit will be sorely missed. Mike was a universally respected Emmy-winning producer with over 25 years in the industry, who guided and supported a generation of artists, writers and creators and his absence will be felt by the entire community. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time,” the network said.
Akshay to Start Filming 'Bachchan Pandey'
Akshay Kumar is set to start filming for his Christmas 2020 release Bachchan Pandey in February next year after wrapping up Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. This will mark his 10th collaboration with Housefull 4 producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The action comedy is being directed by Farhad Samji, and will be shot at locations across India.
Ankita Lokhande Joins Cast of 'Baaghi 3'
Manikarnika actor Ankita Lokhande has joined Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh as part of Baaghi 3. The film is being directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios.
Makers of 'Housefull 4' Release New Motion Poster

'Dream Girl' Cross Rs 100 Crore at the Box Office
Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl has earned Rs 101.40 crores at the box office in 11 days since its release on 13 September. The film has been directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and also stars Nushrat Bharucha and Vijay Raaz.

Leonardo DiCaprio Extends Support To Sadhguru's 'Cauvery Calling'
Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio recently took to Facebook to lend support to the ‘Cauvery Calling’ movement initiated by the Isha Foundation. He wrote, "India's rivers are severely endangered with many of its smaller rivers vanishing. Join Sadhguru and the Isha Foundation in their fight to preserve the Cauvery river.” DiCaprio also dropped a link of Isha Foundation’s website.
Last year, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev was invited by DiCaprio's foundation for their Earth Sense event.
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev announced the launch of 'Cauvery Calling' in July with an aim to revitalise the dying river which is the source of livelihoods, irrigation and drinking water for 84 million people, the release said.
The movement will support lakhs of farmers in the Cauvery basin to plant 242 crore trees in an economic plan that is expected to revive not just the river but the fortunes of farmers in the basin as well, the release further said.
