Ek Villain’s sequel, which will be starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and John Abraham, might have found one of its leading ladies in Disha Patani. According to reports, Disha will be starring opposite John in the film and the search for the other actor is still on. The film’s director. Mohit Suri, who also directed Aditya and Disha in Malang, said, “Disha is the first heroine who walked up to me and said, ‘I want to do more action, beat up people, perform stunts…kick some butt. Just the way boys do it in your films.’” Reportedly, Disha will be seen in a ‘gone girl-ish’ avatar in the film. Ek Villain 2 released on 8 January 2021.
Veteran actor Govind Namdev has joined the ensemble of Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu and comedian Rajpal Yadav. It is set to release on 31 July.
Sobhita Dhulipala has been roped in for a role in director Sashi Kiran's Major. The film marks Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's debut as producer and is inspired by 2 6/11 martyr, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film stars Adivi Sesh in title role. The bilingual film is being shot in Telugu and Hindi. Produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, Major is set for a 2020 release.

The trailer for Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Sooryavanshi has released. The film follows Akshay Kumar, who plays an anti-terrorism squad chief, in his quest to stop a massive terror attack on Mumbai. He joins forces with Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn’s characters from Simmba and Singham.
The cast and crew of The Family Man have wrapped up shooting for season 2 of the Amazon Prime web series. Directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the show stars Manoj Bajpayee, Shreya Dhanwantary, Priyamani and Samantha Akkineni.
The Telugu remake of 2016 Bollywood film Pink has been titled Vakeel Saab. The first poster for the film has been released, and shows lead actor Pawan Kalyan leaning back in a chair reading a book. The film is being directed by Venu Sriram, who is also helming Allu Arjun’s Icon, and jointly produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju. It also stars Nivetha Thomas and Anjali.
