Comic book creator, writer and publisher at Marvel Comics, Stan Lee has passed away at the age of 95. According to reports, he breathed his last at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. His death is being mourned by thousands of fans from around the world. Sonam Kapoor and Anupam Kher are among those from Bollywood who have taken to social media to express their grief over his demise.

Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son Aryan turned 21 on 12 November. Karan Johar, who is extremely close to the family, took to Twitter to wish him. “My baby boy is 21 today!!!! I can’t believe it!!! Felt my first parental pang when he was born!!! Happy birthday Aryan!!! You have been blessed with the most amazing parents!!!!” he tweeted.
Mumbai Mirror reports that actor-producer Sohum Shah’s critically acclaimed horror Tumbbad 2 is all set for a sequel.
“I always knew I would take this idea forward even when I was working on the original. After the release, we have got multiple requests of a seque.” He informed Mumbai Mirror that he has already started developing the idea and scouting for scriptwriters. “It will be a different story this time but the connection to the place Tumbbad will remain,” he revealed. He also disclosed that Hastar will appear in Tumbbad 2 as well.
Karanvir Bora fans are not too happy with Salman Khan ridiculing the Naagin actor in the Weekend Ka Vaar Episodes of Bigg Boss 12. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, upcoming DC Comics superhero film Aquaman will be released in India a week before it hits theatres in the US. The film will be debut on 14 December in India and 21 December in the US.
Karan Johar has confirmed that fantasy film Brahmastra will release during Christmas in 2019. The film will reportedly be part of a trilogy and has been written and directed by Ayan Mukerji. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
Akshay Kumar-starrer Mission Mangal is scheduled to hit theatres on 15 August, 2019. The film is a drama about India’s mission to Mars. It will be directed by Jagan Shakti and produced in association with PadMan’s R Balki. The cast also includes Vidya Balan, Nithya Menen, Sonakshi Sinha and Taapsee Pannu.
Sanjay Dutt and Madhur Bhandarkar were in Budapest, Hungary to attend the Hungarian-Indian Film & Tourism Symposium held on 13 November 2018. The consul general and several Hungarian as well as Indian diplomats attended the event where Dutt and Madhur were guests of honour.

The Cine and TV Artistes’ Association(CINTAA) has severed all ties with actor Alok Nath who has been accused of harassing several actors and raping director and producer Vinta Nanda. CINTAA shared the news on the official Twitter handle. The decision was taken when the body called for a meeting between Nanda and Nath, but the latter did not attend it. Nanda shared her horrific experiences with Nath on social media as the #metoo movement gained momentum in India.
Actor-filmmaker Dhanush on Tuesday took to twitter to announce that he will next team up with Mari Selvaraj, the director of critically-acclaimed film 'Pariyerum Perumal', for a new yet-untitled Tamil project.
Pa. Ranjith produced 'Pariyerum Perumal', which chronicles caste issues in Tamil Nadu and shook the viewers with its raw presentation, was widely appreciated, reports IANS.
In his tweet, Dhanush revealed he finally watched the film and that he was blown away by it.
He wrote: "Finally watched 'Pariyerum Perumal'. Mind blown. The rawness and lifestyle shown is so real it feels you are there."
Actor-comedian Vir Das, who became the first Indian to have his own Netflix comedy show in 2017, is coming back with another standup comedy show titled "Vir Das LOSING IT" for the same OTT platform.
On the show, Das said in a statement: "It's something I have been working on for the last year. The first Netflix special took me accross the world and to brand new audience.
"I'm hoping to show them a new side to my comedy in this show. It's going to cover world events, some controversial topics, but also get a whole lot more personal."
He also confirmed the news on social media by posting a short video clip in which he can be seen talking about the show, reports IANS.
