The first trailer for Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming film Laal Kaptaan has been released. The short clip, titled Chapter 1 - The Hunt, introduces us to his character with a menacing voiceover that says, “Aadmi ke paeda hote hi, kaal apne bhaise pe chal padta hai... use vaapas libane (As soon as a man is born, Yamraj [the Hindu god of death] mounts his ox and begins a journey to bring the man back).”

US-Indian comedian Hasan Minhaj appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday night, 23 September, to discuss him being denied entry to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Howdy Modi’ event in Houston, Texas.
Hasan, who hosts Netflix’s popular political comedy show Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, was allegedly told by the organisers that his comments on PM Modi were the reason for him being shut out from covering the event. “I showed up to the press table and they were like, ‘We’re out of space and you’ve been denied... the comments you’ve made about PM Modi were not appreciated and you’ve been blacklisted,’” he told Meyers.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl seems to be having a dream run at the box office. The film has earned Rs 101.40 crore in 11 days since its release on 13 September, making it his second film to cross Rs 100 crores after 2018’s Badhaai Ho, and his fastest film to do so. Dream Girl is also Ayushmann’s sixth consecutive hit.

Delivering a powerful speech at the United Nations Climate Action Summit 2019, 16-year-old environment activist, Greta Thunberg brought to the forefront the issue of climate change and criticized world leaders for their apathy towards the crisis.
The climate crusader has found supporters all around the world and Priyanka Chopra too backed her call for climate action as she shared a video of the Swedish girl at UN. Posting the video, the UN Goodwill Ambassador wrote, “How dare we fail you... and what audacity we have to not want to help you save what’s left. Thank you @gretathunberg for giving us the much needed punch in the face, for bringing your generation together and showing us that we need to know better, do more to save what is most critical. At the end of the day, we only have this one planet. #howdareyou”

The makers of Made in China dropped the first song from the album and it is a recreation of Falguni Pathak’s iconic garba number ‘Odhani Odhu Odhu Ne Udi Jaaye’. The song has been sung by Darshan Raval and Neha Kakkar, with music by Sachin-Jigar. With Navratri around the corner, the song also features glimpses of Garba moves.
