'Joker' to Re-Release in India in February
Joaquin Phoenix-starrer Joker will re-release in India on 14 February. The Todd Phillips directorial has been nominated for the Oscars in 11 categories, including Best Picture and Best Actor.
'Malang' Song: Disha and Aditya in Melancholy 'Phir Na Milen Kabhi'
The latest track from Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani-starrer Malang is out. Titled ‘Phir Na Milen Kabhi’, the song has been sung by Ankit Tiwari with music by DJ Phukan and lyrics by Prince Dubey. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film also stars Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu, and releases on 7 February.
Ajay Devgn Shares Teaser-Poster of 'Maidaan'
Ajay Devgn has taken to Instagram to share a teaser-poster of his upcoming film Maidaan. The poster shows a team of men standing with a football, caked in mud. Their faces aren’t revealed.
Maidaan will see Ajay play the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, regarded as the architect of modern Indian football. The film will mainly cover the period between 1952 and 1962, defined as the golden era of Indian football.
Directed by Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma, and produced by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta, the film will also star Keerthy Suresh. The actor, who has so far worked in several Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films, will be making her Bollywood debut with Maidaan.
Shooting for Robert Pattinson-Starrer 'The Batman' Begins
The shooting for ‘The Batman’ starring Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader has begun, and was revealed by director Matt Reeves on Twitter. He shared a picture of the clapboard and wrote, “#DayOne #TheBatman.” He also shared the cinematography for the film will be done by Greig Fraser. Big Little Lies star Zoe Kravitz has been cast as Selina Kyle a.k.a. Catwoman opposite Twilight-star Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne.
