The glamorous song from Aanand L Rai’s Zero, ‘Husn Parcham’ is finally out and fans cannot contain their excitement. Katrina Kaif made everyone's jaw drop at the event, with a live performance at the song launch on Wednesday in Mumbai. Composed by Ajay-Atul, the song is sung by Bhoomi Trivedi.

Playing superstar Babita Kumari, Katrina introduces this character perfectly in Husn Parcham.

Aanand L Rai, Ajay- Atul, Katrina Kaif, Bhushan Kumar and Bosco were present at the event and shared their experience of working on this sizzling song. When asked about directing such a glamorous number, Aanand L Rai said,

“This is what happens when Katrina Kaif is on your film. There is no glamour without Katrina”.

The director also confesses that he had ‘no other option’ than to let Bosco and Katrina Kaif the liberty to make the song as they please because he had never directed something like this before. Katrina talks about how this song was not about technicality but about having fun.

“Aanand Sir said, ‘She is the happiest woman in the world, she doesn’t have a care in the world’. Sometimes we forget the joy that one feels when we dance. It was a refreshing change not to think about the technicalities of the dance move and just have fun”.

Shah Rukh, in his tweets, explained the meaning of Husn Parcham to his audience, saying it was the “announcement of beauty”.

At the event, lyricist Irshad Kamil explained why he named the song ‘Husn Parcham’.

“I have tried to give women strength in my songs. Husn is always associated with being delicate but she has her own strength and attitude and that’s why Parcham is about her strength”.
