‘Karwaan’ Poster: Promise of a Quirky Tale on the Road

The first poster of Karwaan, starring Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar i s here. It comes with the slogan: “3 lost souls... 2 dead bodies... a journey of a lifetime”. The quirkily designed poster points to a hatke story complete with a coffin loaded on a car (were we the only ones reminded of Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron?), an elephant and a horn players apart from the main actors.

Directed by Akarsh Khurana, Karwaan revolves around three oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together on a somewhat bizarre journey which helps them find normalcy in their lives. It has been shot in Kerala.
Karwaan releases on 3 August, and marks the Bollywood debut of Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar.
