Here’s Why a Blogger Thinks ‘Jagga Jasoos’ Is Inspired by Tintin

A Tintin fan compiles a list of frames from the ‘Jagga Jasoos’ trailer that are inspired Tintin’s adventures.

All you fans out Tintin out there, if you always felt that the trailers of Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos somehow reminded you of your favourite comic book hero, but couldn’t place your finger on why - blogger Sagaran Jos has the answer.

Jos has in his blog sagaranjos.blogspot.in done a frame by frame analysis of the Anurag Basu film and picked out scenes which seem to be inspired by the adventures of the young reporter Tintin. “Jagga Jasoos takes a huge inspiration from my favourite piece of childhood. And the similarities are too huge to be just coincidental!” writes Jos as he goes to spot the similarities.

Sagaran’s blog gives instances of other similarities too. While Ranbir Kapoor had said back in 2013 that Jagga Jasoos will be a “Indiana Jones meets Tintin” kinda detective film, we hope the film lives up to all those expectations too.
