1. Bollywood Pays Respects After Kalpana Lajmi’s Death

Renowned filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi died Sunday morning at the age of 64. Lajmi, a director, producer and screenwriter, was known for films like Rudaali, Daman and Darmiyaan.

Soni Razdan, who was close to Kalpana, was one of the first to break the news. She shared a picture of herself with Kalpana on Instagram.

Ranbir Kapoor, along with his father Rishi Kapoor and uncles Randhir and Rajiv, kept to tradition and celebrated Ganpati Visarjan with full enthusiasm amidst a sea of fans at the iconic RK Studios, which has been put up for sale.

The Kapoor family always steps out and celebrates the Ganpati festival at the studio in Chembur with gusto. And this year was no different, even if it may be the last at the venue, as the sounds of the 'dhol' and 'tashe' enhanced the festive fervour.

3. Ranveer Singh’s Rap Antics With Divine at Gully Fest

Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Gully Boy is reportedly inspired by the lives of Mumbai-based rappers Divine and Naezy, and the actor has undergone some hardcore prep for the role including learning how to rap. The Padmaavat star decided to show off his new skills by performing along side Divine himself at one of the rapper’s concert appropriately titled Gully Fest.

4. IARA 2018: Vijay Wins Best International Actor Award for ‘Mersal’
